Logic
Goodies...
On this page, you can find some goodies: Logic files
created by Johannes Prischl which can be downloaded for free. These files
either contain environment patches or some score stuff that can be useful
for Logic users.
Each file is available twice, as a Windows or Mac
version, packed into an archive that also contains a short text file for
explanation. The files are compressed: *.zip format for Windows, *.sit
for Mac.Choose the one you need and have fun!
Manuscript Paper
If you still use pencil and paper occasionally for writing
music, these files guarantee that you never run out of manuscript
paper again (well, except if you run out of blank paper...). There are
two archives for each platform: A4 and US letter size formats, each with two files for portrait and landscape format.
You will find different "manuscript formats" in
each file: The portrait format file contains pages with 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18 and 20 staves. The landscape format file supplies 6, 8, 10, 12 and 14 stave paper.

JP Input Arpeggiator
This file contains an environment patch that can be
inserted between the physical input and sequencer input. It allows to play
Logic's arpeggiator using the sustain pedal while playing (live) through Logic's Arpeggiator object in order to continue the currently generated arpeggio after the keys on the keyboard have been released. So, like with sustained chords, it's possible to play a chord (which triggers the arpeggiator), press the sustain pedal, release the keys while the arpeggio continues to play, and then play the next chord while simultaneously releasing the sustain pedal.
Apart from that, this file also contains a little input transformer macro that converts modulation wheel data to volume data.

Repeator Light
This file contains an environment patch that makes it
possible to play back repeat signs, first and second endings as written
in the score.
Please note: This file is also on the Logic program CD, in
the "Logic support collection".

There is also a version which supports proper playback
of Da Capo, Dal Segno (both with or without repeats) and Fine. It is called
Repeator Pro and comes with the Logic Notation Guide.
QuickTime Musical Instrument Mini-Setup (for Mac only)
This file contains an environment layer with a General
MIDI multi instrument that can be routed either to a GM hardware synth
connected to the computer or to the (internal) Quicktime musical instrument.
This connection can be rerouted with a single mouseclick in the environment,
so you can switch back and forth between the QT instrument (for example
when you are on the road with your Powerbook) and a real synth at home
or in the studio.
